Can we teach children to be fluent “Imago speakers”? Dr. Dorit Aram a faculty member at the Tel Aviv University School of Education, specializing in Adult-Child interaction and the development of young, will present the preliminary results of an intervention study that teaches kindergarteners the Imago ideas and the basics of the "Intentional dialog". Dr. Aram will talk about the young children's cognitive and social competencies to understand the Imago ideas and their willingness and level of cooperation in adopting the "mirroring" method as part of their communication. She will discuss the adults' role as demonstrating and teaching the method in the presence of young children.
